Yeah, but Death Row actually put out Dogg Pound's "2002" album. So it's an official Death Row release.

Its a official release, but its consider a type of non-official one artist wise.  But yes, they still are official death Row Releases.

Kurupt supported Dogg Pound "2002" he said in an interview how it was cool seeing all those tracks put out.  Daz didn't support "2002."

The difference in Tupac and say, Dogg Pound or Snoop, is that Pac's material was authorized by his estate.

Tupac's material was co-owned legally by Amaru just as Suge (at the time, now Wideawake/Lara Lavi) owned his material.  That was an official release because it was in stores and had the Death Row logo on it and distributed by D3 Entertainment.

"Change The Game" was never officially pushed as a single by Death Row.
This is true, but this is part of a deal that Suge made where he traded the sample of Tupac’s “Me and My Girlfriend” to Jay-Z (which he used on “Bonnie and Clyde” single with Beyonce) in exchange for the rights to put the “Change The Game Remix” ft. Jay-Z, Beanie, & Memphis on there.  It was a mutual deal and overtime this helped Tha Dogg Pound “2002” move close to 400,000 units (Too Gangsta For Radio and 2002 were Gold if you combined their sales).  The album debuted at #36 on the charts and sold well for the amount of promotion it had over time.  It sold more than “Dillinger & Young Gotti 1 and 2” combined, and it sold more than “Cali Iz Active.”

Right. I understand that.

It's basically an unofficial Dogg Pound album, but official Death Row album.

Well 50% unofficial. Kurupt re-recorded some parts for the album.
