Rich Rico wants to take what 2 of his rap idols SPM and Kid Frost did, and that's elevate it to the next level. He wants to take latin hip hop into mainstream success. He feels the Latin Hip Hop artists now have the talent and drive to compete in a mainstream level. All they are missing is the one artist to kick down the door. With the state of hip hop being the way it is right now, with sales being at a all time low and more one hit wonders are produced everyday. A latin artist competing in a mainstream level would be a breath of fresh air. Latin Hip Hop is here to stay and is not going anywhere, It has survived and stood tall through everything that the industry has thrown it's way. Form Concious rap (Tribe Called Quest, Common) to Gangsta rap (N.W.A., Death Row,) To the shiny suit Era(Puff, Mase) to the ringtone era (Souja boy, Hurracaine Chris). Latin Hip Hop has not been phased by the trends or eras. All it's missing is for the one artist to bring Latin Hip Hop to the forefront.
