The Godfather >>> all named. ;)

but all the other movies named are dope too.

Scarface was a pretty good movie, but i am not going to lie; the end made it what it was.

how is american gangsta even on that list? and wouldnt godfather be a gangsta, the untouchables is dopeness as well,  but out of those, casino

i put american gangster on it cos I saw some dvd boxset in stores wit that casino & scarface so it was jus in my head

at one point when they grow up & De Niro gets out of jail, they basically go gangsta, so i have to agree with you.

American Gangster was solid but has no business being mentioned with legendary movies like Goodfellas, Casino, and The Godfather 1 and 2.  I actually think The Untouchables is overrated and I really feel that is all because of how terrible Kevin Costner acted in this movie and overall the movie just had to many corny moments.

Godfather 1 and 2 is the best. Goodfellas and Casino are right on that level. Scarface is a great movie but it's not the same as those movies I just listed. Godfather, Goodfellas and Casino are obviously revolved around the LCN or Mafia so to speak while Scarface was more about drug lords and extreme drug trafficking so I consider it a different type of Gangster movie.  Donnie Brasco was also great but I have done a lot of research on what really happened and there are several things in the movie that are false and some things that didn't happen but it's still an amazing movie.

My favorite Gangster flicks involving La Cosa Nostra is The Godfather parts 1 and 2, Goodfellas, Casino and Donnie Brasco.

Then some of my other favorite gangster flicks that aren't centered around the Mafia are Scarface, Reservoir Dogs and Carlitos Way.


Godfather part 1 and Goodfellas are the two best IMO.

"Gangsta" is something uneducated black kids aspire to be. A gangster is the type of person these movies depict. I'm a Goodfellas fan but Godfather still takes the cake,
