Former Def Jam artist Freeway recently spoke on the possibility of State Property reuniting along with the likelihood of making G-Unit Records his new home.
The Philadelphia-bred emcee revealed thoughts on Beanie Sigel's new music and how realistic a label jump to G-Unit could be.
"It's a possiblity, it's definitely a possibility," Freeway said in regards to 50 Cent's label. "I haven't talked to Dame [Dash] in a couple of month. We keep in touch...You need a guy like that in your corner...Beans got some sh*t. He's in the studio. He's cooking some sh*t up...We're trying to work a few things out [for a State Property reunion]. I think it definitely can happen. People just have to put their pride to the side. Everybody's gotta get on the same page. I think the street's definitely need it can it can happen now."

The "Rocafella Billionaire" is currently putting together a new album.
"It's official, I got the album coming this summer," Free said in a recent video blog. "Freeway. Jake One. The Stimulus Package. It's gonna be crazy, y'all gonna love it. We calling it The Stimulus Package 'cause we stimulatin' hip-hop. We're bringing it back to the real hip-hop...It's gonna be crazy. One producer. One emcee. Y'all gonna love it, trust me man. We putting it together right now."
The Stimulus Plan will follow-up the rapper's 2007 release, Free At Last which featured the hit single "Take It To The Top" with 50 Cent.
An album with the four-member Ice City, Welcome to the Hood, had a low-profile 2004 release. Three years later, Roc-a-Fella finally issued Free's second album, Free at Last. While Just Blaze dominated the production work on Philadelphia Freeway, a cast including Cool & Dre, Don Cannon, Dame Grease, and J.R. Rotem shared the load this time out.

Former Def Jam artist Memphis Bleek, recently discussed his departure from the renowned Roc-A-Fella Records distributor.
"Jay-Z's the kindest n*gga that walk the face of this earth and everything ain't money," Bleek said in an interview. "N*gga gave everybody he knew that he came up with rhyming with opportunity, that's all you can ask for...You know Hov broke bread...I left Def Jam...I had options to put out another album on Def Jam but then I had a meeting with him and he made it real clear to me, 'Why do that, you got the opportunity right now to run your own company. I'ma get you the distribution deal for Get Low Records, you sign your artists, drop your albums under Get Low and I'ma still executive produce.'" (Hip Hop Beef)

Freeway and Jake one is a damn good combo... I dont really like the unit but if it boosts his popularity and gives him some publicity to shine with, I hope he uses it and keeps on makin some damn good music... He is better than average!

Freeway's music is like fine wine, it gets better the longer it's shelved.
