Hammer is not only a West Coast legend but a Hip-Hop legend also.. Some of his albums are really bangin' - shame Death Row didn't released "Too Tight" with "Too Late Playa" as a lead single, shit would sell like crazy 8)

I can't see any reason why Hammer wouldn't be considered a legend. I loved his shit back in the days and could still bump 'Funky Headhunter' today from front to back.

The Death Row album he did was truly fucking horrendous though.

yep.why they didnt release it? (like many other albums).

is it true that "too tight" was a double cd?

will we ever see credits to "too tight"?

I mean hammer was huge, no doubt. But he can't be compared to the other west coast legends like Tupac, snoop on and on. Hammer was too nice son.

shid hammer knew when to get gangsta...he let niggas talk...but none of them ever came to see hammer..

since when do you have to be gangsta to be a west coast legend?

u dont...jus statin that hammer knew when to get gangsta..he aint bother nobody or talk shit bout what others was doin on wax..but 1nce them 2 white boys said somethin bout his momma..hammer put them baggy pants up..

n went to see em..

.but niggas on this site will put more gangsta rappers in front of hammer and a couple others people in a heart beat

shit if nething i bet i would be the only nigga on the board puttin

Casual
Del
Domino
Pep Love
souls of mischief
raw fusion
watts prophets

in front of eazy e pac, snoop, cube, dre, ren,

prolly the only one who has heard rappin' black in a white world by watts prophets and say

rappin black in a white world > anything that has came out the west coast ever

His Inside Out album was pretty good. It had some good songs on like luv n happiness.
Does anyone have any info on his Family Affair album that was released in 1998. Its very rare stuff. It has Unconditional love amongst other songs that he redid.

Nope.  He had 2 great songs.  Baby got back & my posse's on broadway.  I did hear the song 'ride' on beavis & butthead, nice but not great.  Nothing against sir mix a lot.
