I saw DJ Premier live last night...

in one of the best clubs in town.That nigga is a fuckin' LEGEND man, for real.The talent he has, it's unbelievable.He played music for 3 and a half hours, then gave autographs, I even shook hands with him after that.

He played so much classics, it ain't real.And when he played some old school funk, soul and rnb shit, it was a wrap.He had the whole club in the palm of his hand, man, the scratches, the songs...everything was perfect

big ups to Blaq Poet, he was there too and performed some of his songs with Premo.Tbh I was amped for some PHD, but the songs he did were real dope nonetheless

I'm from Bulgaria man, and we rarely get to see dudes like Premier come here (I mean, I've seen Redman, Method Man, Busta Rhymes, Naughty By Nature and EPMD come here.The people that came but I couldn't see were Jeru, Das EFX, Onyx(didn't really care for their concert tho, not really a fan), Snoop and Tha Dogg Pound (my biggest mistake), Coolio, Rza and Marley Marl).Premier was the first one to perform at a club (except Marley, he was at a club too, but it wasn't such a good one), and shit was insane because each concert was in a hall or at a stadium and 80 % of the audience were some high or drunk ass idiots.Last night at Premiers' venue I could actually see normal people that love hip-hop and could enjoy themselves without acting stupid

And man, what can I say, Premier was talking to the crown man, mixin' shit up, scratching...the way he introduced Nas' "Nas Is Like", Big Puns' "Whatcha Gon Do", that KRS,Rakim,Nas "Classic" joint, Group Homes' "Livin' Proof" was just insane, all the funk and soul shit he played (it was soo sick to hear the songs that have been sampled in hip-hop tracks)...I can't really describe it better

And TDA my man, my homie went to get a pic with Premo right after I shook hands with him, but there were sooo many people around premo at the time that I couldn't get to him in time for the pic lol

I still can't believe I got to say "you're a living legend" to one of the greatest hip-hop producers in person

Man, I just played Puns' Whatcha Gonna Do and remember again

Premo stops the music, looks at the ceiling and says "YO Pun" and plays the beggining of the song, where pun "sings".He rewinds it, looks at the ceiling again, yells |AYO PUN tell'em how you do this shit", starts cuttin' shit up and the song beggins...less than a minute later you have Premo scratchin' and the whole club singin'
