Are U a real westcoast fan?
« on: March 26, 2009, 04:27:48 AM »
Are u a real westcoast fan or just a 90's fan? A lot of u here live in the past . Of course the g funk 90 's sound was so great i'm  a fan too. The early 90,s are the golden era we all know that but it's the past . U can't ask a rapper who was 19 year old in the hood and hungry to do the same thing 15 years later!(i hear to many of u asking to snoop or cube or dre to go back to their classic . But the time fly ther are not the same and if it was easy to make classic it's no need to call those album classic!)  It's sad but it's true . And it's not just a westcoast fact. it's the same for the east and south... That's one of the reason the west fel of it's because the fan who are supposed to support the west are stuck in the 90's

So stop living in the past and support the west (old , new ...)

Peace

But why should people support music just for the sake of supporting it? I simply have no interest in buying a new Snoop (or Ice Cube, or LL Cool J as a non-West example) album just to show them support if they're not making music I want to hear.

Plus, by your reasoning of what makes a west coast fan, we should all buy some shitty new album by a South Central No-Name just because he's from South Central. We're in a motherfucking recession - I barely have enough spare cash to buy the records I want to hear, let alone throw my money at some chump just to make him feel better about his chosen career path. (No one's doing that for me, believe me!)
