damn i didn't know $25 was so much to all of you. i'm not tryin to say how much i got but i'm sure you spend well over 20 bucks on the weekends when your gettin fucked up. i know its a recession but c'mon $25?? if its not a big deal for you to listen to the music then thats understandable but if its a $$ issue then you're either cheap or broke and if you're broke then i feel badha i bet a lot of money that we all spend on random shit eventually goes to assholes we wouldn't like so i'm not gonna be picky about who's on the other end of this product
shit i bought a cheeseburger the other day from mcdonalds that wasn't too good but that's not gonna stop me from goin next time i want a cheeseburger
Quote from: slickrik2002 on March 27, 2009, 04:41:40 PMshit i bought a cheeseburger the other day from mcdonalds that wasn't too good but that's not gonna stop me from goin next time i want a cheeseburgerLol. That's actually pretty funny. I appreciate the analogy. But the thing is, if people keep letting them get away with sub-par service, these projects are going to continue to suffer. Don't you think that if you buy a project like this, the seller should be held responsible for whether or not you receive the project? I'm guessing you've purchased this Crooked I project. You'll probably be pretty upset if they don't deliver, won't you? I'm just saying that if they want to sell these projects, they should have to deliver.
damn u still havent logged off...ur hurting everyone with all this wack shit u drop, it hurts more then getting the swine fluQuote from: Laconic on March 16, 2010, 08:21:33 AMTue, Mar 16, 2010 at 8:15 AM By: Ice CubeMe and Mack 10 together again? yeah but looks like they have found some long time crooked fans who are willin to pay for anything for a crooked projecttherefore they get the money first, and they think if or when they keep the money and dont "deliver" the project you paid for, YOU WONT BE MAD

Yeah, that probably is what they're thinking. But from what I understand they've only got about 10 orders for their Crooked I album, this time around. I think it's pretty obvious that quite a few people are still pretty pissed from last time.
yeah but see they are and were smartthey got a hold of some unreleased crooked material leaked that as their proof, and their backup so they can say well we aint lyin, so drop the funds and well ship this outso i mean looks like thats how they got fans in and by the looks of it, they will continute to do soand all along either them or someone will leak this

And if we're gonna take it to "cheeseburger" analogies, I'd say it would be like buying a cheeseburger for $10 that someone made at their house and just wrapped up in a napkin. You had to buy 14 other kinds of foods off their menu that were all overpriced but now you've spent your money and it's finally yours.... Once thirty other people also buy burgers.

Like I said if people wanna buy the project that is more power to them but let's call this for what it is. This thread was started, calling out people for not supporting the project when there are some very valid points not to. The project, in my opinion, isn't anywhere near reasonably priced. Beyond that, the business is very questionable. If they don't have enough customers, perhaps they should change something about how they are doing business. If you have $25 to blow on a CD-R, that's your business but don't try to bait others into following you down that line by accusing them of being "cheap". I wouldn't spend $14 on a Pepsi either. It's not because I'm too cheap to afford the $14, it's because I know how much a Pepsi is worth. I'm no more mad at the person trying to sell it than he should be at me for recognizing his hustle and choosing not to purchase. It's not an emotional investment with me. I've never bought a thing from them so how could I be mad at them? If you look at the situation from an objective perspective, it's pretty clear that they need to make some changes if they want to raise the projected amount of money. Having the 10 people who did buy the CD flood other forums asking people to cough up the money so they can get theirs isn't the answer. I don't have the Crooked I album at my house so I have no say in you getting it. I cough up the $25 and I get to sit around and play the waiting game with the rest of you. No thank you. Talk to the people with your money. That's on them.
