SlaughterHouse recording EP for Summer Tour
« on: March 28, 2009, 09:39:31 AM »
Joell sent this from his Twitter account.

JoellOrtiz: Slaughterhouse is recording an EP for this years summer tour.

Glad to hear they'll be touring this summer. It's rumored that they might be in the Rock The Bells line-up this summer?

good news. hopefully more artists come to the london leg of rock the bells and it resembles the us festival feel. problem is, they need a big name act to sell tickets in the uk...

I hope its a hard copy and not a digital release.I can't wait to own something from them.its probably just an ep so they can get signed.if they can't get a record label deal hip hop is dead.I hope they sign to someone like src which is through univeral.if you don't know src is steve rifkinds new label he used to own loud.loud was the dopest label back in the day and it focused on hardcore hip hop.src signed pharoah monch so I could see that happen which would be nice.

Yes. More importantly Rifkind was responsible for bringing Wu-Tang to the forefront of the industry back in 1993.

On top of that, Slaughter House was in the studio in NY a couple of weeks ago with an SRC A&R/Producer. Not sure what it was all about, so we can only speculate. But the SRC rep basically confirmed that "the Slaughter House project is gonna be crazy" so interpret that however you wish? This was posted via Twitter, btw.
