I thought it was legal in Cali if you have a medical card.  And from what I have read all you have to do is pretty much tell your doc you get headaches or can't sleep and they give you a card.

Replace it w/ cigs and then ween yourself off of those.  I hate cigs, and that's what I do if I'm trying to stop.  Weed has always been the type of thing that once I don't have it for a few days I don't even miss it.
