Saw Englund few moths ago in a great movie called RED, he had few minute role (great), but the whole movie is one of the best in 2008

He can probably play Freddy ok but getting away from Robert Englund in this one is a bad choice.

How tall is Robert Englund?  It seems that Jackie Earle Haley is really short but I don't exactly know.  Jackie Earle Haley surprised fans with his portrayal of Rorshach, so he might surprise fans again with Freddy.

i'm not sure , but i know he's not that tall either, jenna jameson dwarfed him in that zombie strippers movie so i'm guessing he's a teeny man.

Are you talking about the masked guy with the fedora on watchmen?  The one who looked like a cross between Danny Bonaduce the main dude from House?  And sounded like Christian Bale when he's in the Batman suit?  If he's the one then I might just check that out ;)  & he just might be able to pull off a Heath Ledger type performance.

Of course Englund is Freddy forever.

but Jackie Earle would make a perfect sub.... (Creepy looking fuck)
(+ I was a huge "Bad news bears" fan in the dayz of wayback"  ;D )

Is this movie still gonna be a prequel to before Kruger was burned alive..
(During his first killings when dude was still flesh & bone?)

I might check this for old times sake.
(Can't be as bad as that Carl Lewis version of Jason we had last year)
