Any of y'all ever been to Cancun? I'm probably gonna head down there in July and wanna know what to look out for, where to go, etc.

I was down there in July. If you are college student, you should go in the spring, that when all the hoes are there, and it's crazy. In July you got older people on summer vacations with families, or honeymooners like my wife and I were. Although, on 4th of July, when you go out, all the hoes in Cancun come to the Hotel district and party their ass off. Wrap it up and get a girl you can't even talk too, and you'll be good. One place I LOVED was Isla Mujeres. You can take a boat out there, and they have a strip that has better and cheaper food than Cancun, plus it has a completely laid back atmosphere, even more laid back than Cancun, but Cancun's beaches are better.

Not only that, but I'm Mexican too, with family all over down there. I've been to Michoacan, Guadalajara, Guanajuato and all over Baja California (TJ, Tecate, San Felipe, Mexicali, Los Cabos, Ensenada).

Not only that, but I'm Mexican too, with family all over down there. I've been to Michoacan, Guadalajara, Guanajuato and all over Baja California (TJ, Tecate, San Felipe, Mexicali, Los Cabos, Ensenada).

When I head into the Baja area, it's usually for like the weekend only. And I usually stay with some relatives or some friends.
Whenever I go further South, I stay with my aunts or uncles.
I've never been to Cancun because I always thought it was gonna cost a grip. But I actually got a pretty kick ass deal. One week, all-inclusive (all you can drink alcohol) stay for $600

I guess that depends on how you get out there. I went on the cheap boat that the locals use... lol. So I didn't drink, but I saw the boats that the tourist use, looked nice. Don't know how to get to it, I think it's in the hotel district.

Good luck to you man. My wife and I call it our get away spot. We've gone 2 years in a row, mainly because it's cheap... lol. I guess that's why it's popular with college students, it's cheap as hell. Coco Bongo is cool, there's also Senor Frogs which was cool as hell. Can't remember most the places, but there is more.
