What some of you guys are after baffles me, of course Butch is an awesome singer but this has got Hit Single stamped all over.

- The familiarity of the original which is a classic record
- The modern production
- The "in" autotuning (like it or not)
- Butch's pitch on the track

AGREED, This has hit writing all over it. Which the right promotion this song could be BIG. And hes got one sone with the Auto tone and if it helps Butch get into the mainstreem and sell alot more records, and get the album out sooner. Im all for it! Im sure the whole album wont sound like this. But the track is still pretty ill, nice laid back track. I hope this does become a hit, Butch deserves all the success he can get.

As an introduction, a couple random facts about A LOT of the average DUBCC members (most of them have at least one of the beneath characteristics) :

- They complain about talented artists not dropping an album, yet they would not even buy the album, but download it illegally, if it dropped (I am not mad because of the download I am mad at the combination of it with the complaints)

- They are mad that their beloved artist sold so few copies, but lack the intelligence to understand that in order to sell in 2009, an album has to have descent promotion, a big buzz, a very good first single, a very good video, and has to appeal to many different people (white black rich poor) MANY OF THESE ELEMENTS HAVE TO BE COMBINED.

- Recently they remind me of modern hippies who support their favorite artist to the fullest, yet completely turn their back on them once they become extremely popular, calling them too commercial (crf. ''Artic Monkeys Fans Syndrome'')



I understand folks, that 'All I Need' song was awesome, but Butch's new 'Fast Car', although it contains autoune, is wondeful imo.

Some of the biggest names in the industry call T-Pain the only one who rocks the autotune in a good manner...and i have to agree, at least technically it is flawless...yet most of his recent hooks SUCK ASS, they have no originality, are repetitive, have no content etc...  But y'all don't want to support someone who tries to appeal to a larger public while at the same time tries to hold on to his roots.
