I like Dre but lets face it, dude cant run a label properly, sure he had his little run but now i think he should just sell and get outta it, who knows if he can even still make great beats.

Besides having Dre. attached.... Aftermath Entertainment is not a West Coast label. (sound)
The majority of the music they have distributed or have their name attached has zero to do with West.

That said, Dre, Xzibit & Game's project's still the best material they have dropped. IMO
(Go figure)

Dre isn't the business type he just makes music. He needs someone that knows what he's doing to help with the label.Aftermath is probably the most disappointing label ever made. You know its bad when most people are relieved when an artist gets dropped because now you might actually get an album.

People act like Dre owes some debt to every one. Dre has left behind an incredible legacy. I don't blame anyone for wanting to put out the best material possible.

I'm all for an artist being honest with himself or his label and only putting out good material.  The industry needs more people like Dre.  Can you imagine if Hitman had come out with his album?  From what we've heard of it so far, it was garbage.  Without Dre, I may have wasted $15 on it.  King T?  I love his old stuff, but him and Dre were not a good match.  Once again, Dre saved me $15.

Of the recent artists, Bishop, Stat Quo, etc..   Not one of them has come with a song that made me want to buy their album.  People act like Dre has a magic wand and he will wave it to make these artists good all of the sudden. It doesn't work like that.  Its not like he hasn't signed artists like Joel Ortiz, Stat, Bishop, Slim the Mobsta, Rakim.... and given them a chance to work with him.  I'm sure if they would have made something worth listening to or marketable Dre would have put it out.

From 2Pac to Eminem to Snoop.....Dre has had a hand in the biggest rap albums of all time.

I would much rather that he be selective, rather than coming out with junk like most of the last few Quik projects, anything the Dogg Pound has put out in the last 5 years, or Cube's albums.

Are you kidding?  Aftermath is probably one of the most profitable labels ever.  Eminem has sold over 75 million albums worldwide.  50 Cent has sold well, beside the first album Dre put out, I can't think of one flop released by Aftermath.

Id say the label and its politics and so called perfectionism has been its own worst enemy... It has had all the potential in the world and it only has itself to blame!

And busta only went gold I'd say that's a flop as well considering how much money and years went into the album.

Shit if Niggas dogged me out and called me outta my name like they did Dre I would be like fuck alot of ya'll too. he doesnt owe the west coast anything if anything they owe him and the people that he does work with and puts out they sell. his only problem is hes a perfectionst but oh well. I think its funny though this dude Biggszy or whatever his name is is on suges nuts. What the fuck has suge done for the west but fuck shit up he hasnt brought anybody togather or created peace hes created havoc the whole time so fuck suge. And without Dre and his stable of artists, Suge wouldn't have had a label. You can't deny that.

I'm not.they worked together to create it.Just like how dre wouldn't be who he is today without eminem and eminem wouldn't be who he is today without dre.
