what a moron.  The rest of the league is sooo lucky that Manu is out for year

Spurs would be lucky to make the WCF with Ginobli IMO, but there's no denying his importance to their system.

How is that? Ginobli is a huge part of their team. He's an all star and their spark off the bench.  Gooden is just now starting to fit into their system, losing Ginobli was a big blow. The Spurs have been number 2 for most of the year in the West.  Theyve been the only team all year that any expert has given a SHOT at beatin LA.

Yeah I think Spurs at full strength and Lakers at full strength would go 7 games with either team having a great chance to win.

that means shit. We've had years where we didnt win a championship...then follow that up with a year where we dominated the playoffs with the same core of players. Ive been honest about shit, the way we've played...especially down the stretch, I dont see us beating LA.  But dont make yourself look even more retarded then you already do by pretending that experts havent been saying all year that the Spurs were the only team in the West with any shot at taking out the Lakers.

yeah, I dunno what to think right now.  Ive seen them have years like this where they just fly under the radar all year...never look very impressive, and just fuck around and win a title.  But they just havent really seem to put a great string of games together. Their core 3 havent played a ton of games together all year long. We SHOULD get past Dallas....and Im almost more afraid of NO then Denver. NO plays us pretty tough.

I haven't been able to catch a single game from this entire series, has Dampier's strategy been working? Because like I said, it did work for Shaq in 04, I know Parker is a different player now, but still...

he had 12 points in the game following the comments, but made up for it with 43 points in the following game after. they lost both times though, so i'd say dampier has the edge.

Houston would have 2 pass the Lakers first, which isn't gunna happen...Dallas vs. Denver will be a good match-up, though.

Looks like the Mavs got this..as much as I hate Timmy I gotta give him his props, hard to believe this is the first time he's been eliminated in the 1st round.
