So I'm going on a monster road trip tomorrow...

...And I'm flying solo.  Leaving the desert at approximately 4am with a destination of Mecca, aka Tulsa Oklahoma.

I've made this damn trip at least 6-8 times and know it like the back of my hand. Driving through the mountains in AZ can be stressful, as I hate heights but I always manage.  Great scenery till you get to Albuquerque, but east of there it is flat and boring as all hell.  Once I hit Amarillo it's down to the home stretch and I usually get a 2nd wind. 

Total drive time is an estimated 16 hours.  Estimated pit stops - 5. 

Last time I made this trip, I got tired as fuck and decided to stop in Amarillo.  I went to a strip club that one of my homie's highly recommended.  Turns out he was playing a joke as I was the only non-black person in there.  And I was dressed to the T as i had left straight from work.  Lets just say it was awkward.  But I won over their hearts and ended up having a good time. 

Anyway, if you never hear from me again it's because I drove off a cliff or got shanked in Amarillo.  I'd appreciate your positive thoughts on my journey.

Sorry to be misleading...not roadtrippin for the fuck of it...going to grand lake with several friends this weekend then the following weekend ill b in stillwater for graduation then 2 weeks later getting a houseboat on tablerock lake in missouri...since I have these 3 trips I figured I might as well just drive out rather than fly. Be gone for about 6 weeks.

By the way, I think they got Whataburger in Arizona right? I'm pretty sure I went there when I was on a trip to Arizona last year.

when i drive from here (delano, california) to arizona (gilbert, arizona) it takes me about 8 hours and that shit fucking sucks so i can only imagine 16 hours, stay awake man and try not to get tunnel vision.
