Damn these horror franchises get played the fuck out. Halloween was a pretty dope movie although its outdated a bit but they took it too far with all the sequels. The worst horro sequel was Jason in space or some stupid shit like that. Alien been played out, Chucky played out and Freddy Krurger.

I heard theyre making a 4th Scream - that shit is one of my fav slasher films but somehow i see that being a disapointment.

Freddy is actually the one that never got played out

and btw The original Halloween 2 is one of the best horror sequels ever made

 I agree with you.  I think Zombie's first attempt was better than his sequel.  I did think he did a good job with the sequel in the respect of being able to tell his own story this time though.  With his first remake, he kind of still had to stick within the parameters of what was established in John Carpenter's "Halloween."  In Zombie's sequel, he has more of an opportunity to take the characters in his own direction.  Still though, I think I liked Zombie's first attempt better.
 I have to say though, while neither of Zombie's "Halloween" movies have been masterpieces, I've enjoyed his take on the series.  While I really liked the first several original Halloweens (excluding part 3), I think by the time "Halloween: Resurrection" rolled around, the original franchise had gotten pretty stale.  Zombie at least, put a new spin on things.  I do hope, however, that Zombie goes back to doing his own movies soon.

^ Yeah I didn't really find the first one that scary anyways....I'm not really a fan of Zombie either, some of my friends loved House of 100 Corpses/Devil's Rejects but it's just not my type of shit I guess. I loved the OG Halloweens so I'll probably end up checking this one too but I'm not a big fan of the really twisted shit Zombie always does....I don't think he was the right guy for the remake.
