Good horror movies

I used to be a huge fan but lately haven't found the need to watch any.I loved the descent that was about the last one I can think of that I liked.I'm watching one missed call right now and its pretty lame.Just curious if you guys know of any good recent ones

all good horror movies of the last 5 years

Decent list, movies I'd watch once, maybe twice. I thought 1408 was annoying, hold on, maybe it was John Cusack.

John Cusak really is annoying, I thought that the teaser trailer for 2012 was dope, then I see the movie trailer and guess who pops up... yep, your's truly. You automatically now it's gonna be corny as hell.

High tension was amazing.The mist was ok but I didn't like that they showed the creatures.In the mouth of madness is such a classic though I prefer the thing over it as far as John carpenter.He made so many horror classics.The problem I have with most modern horror movies is they confuse gore with scary.I watched the strangers recently and thought it was very good.The best horror movies are the ones with the smallest budget.Anyone hear seen session 9?

30 days of night is based upon a graphic novel.Its about a town in Alaska where you get 30 days of night and vampires take over the town and murder everyone.That would suck to live in Alaska...
