Yea, Tha Realest was born in Dallas, Texas but lives in California for many years now. He reps the West Coast in most of his songs and it ain't about his voice dude. Just check out some of his songs like "2 Live & Die 4 Tha Westside", "West Coast" etc - he's rappin' about the West in almost every song.

Say what you say but Tha Realest has been representing the West Coast to the fullest since his Death Row dayz... that's why people label him "West Coast".
