London has launched an audacious bid to stage the Super Bowl within the next eight years, a move that would see the United States' biggest sporting event played overseas for the first time, the Sunday Telegraph has reported.

maybe it is a bit ignorant. i'm English, i have watched portions of the Superbowl before but never took any further interest in the sport. I don't know anyone who follows NFL.

The thing is that euros will sell out for the regular season game that's in there.  Which needs 2 stop.  Cause they didn't want NFL Europe, it ain't the main stars playing   Put the pro bowl there instead, better yet get rid of the played out pro bowl.  If they gon put it in London, they can put the SB in Pasadena, they can get rid of the stupid rule that the SB has to be in a city that has a team.  Besides, most socal's favorite team is whoever wins the SB anyway.

The game would have to be played at 11PM London Time.  The NFL should just do what's best for their business, like every decision they make.  The game is played in a neutral area anyway.  Who gives a shit if you're from the United States, England, Australia, Canada, Mexico....just enjoy what you enjoy.  If anything, this gives bragging rights to the american football side of the debate.  There will never be talks of the UEFA Champions League Final to be played in NYC lol.
