Crooked I - Young boss vol.2
« on: May 06, 2009, 09:33:40 AM »
I was just listening the untagged version with cali boyz and boom boom clap on it and I have to question why this album wasn't just pressed up and sold as his debut. This album Is easily a 9/10.I hadn't listened to it in a while and was shocked at how good this album is.Great beats and solid lyrics.A lot of tracks had mainstream appeal and if this album was pushed it would have sold on word of mouth alone.

I completely agree with you.  This mixtape was quality stuff.  It had original production and most of it just didn't sound like mixtape tracks.  A great mixtape, but it probably could have been marketed as something more.

is this the one with NWA on it because that song is a heater, and crook aint gonna really come much closer to a track with single appeal than boom boom clap

It really could have been a debut album, too bad they didn't just title it "BOSS".  8)

Is Crooked I workin with the new owners of Death Row? Classic songs like "G'd Up And Banged Out" and "Bang On Em" should really be released officially.

I heard that they spoke to them, but I'm not sure of what they agreed on.

They need to just go ahead and release Untouchable through WIDEAwake.

Untagged... Not all tracks are the best quality, but it's a good start!

Yeah I think that this is one of the main reasons I've been able to cope without a full length debut project, even though this is what 4 years old now?
