I said the Mets are will finish third in the NL East this season...

I might have to change my prediction.  If Carlos Delgado is out for the rest of the season the Mets will take the NL East.

It doesn't matter where he hits in the line up, as long as Delgarbage is gone the team will play good.

They will cool off but the past three games have been the best three the Mets have played in three years..  They are moving runners along, sacrificing, hit and running, stolen bases.  They are playing excellent small ball.  They're busting their asses on every single play.  I haven't enjoyed watching the Mets this much since 06.

rumors on the radio that they might deal Reyes by the deadline; but i doubt there is much truth to them.

would be crazy though! :o
