I don't know about that boss Pac passed in 96. If it wasn't for Dre with the help of 50 which came almost 9 years later, there would still be no mainstream
full factor besides the legends like Cube/Snoop/Dre etc representing for the West.

Tons of dope emcees out here, while half assed street rappers rapping about same shit with just lesser skill and lesser credibility shining right now

No one in the west has put shit out all year. In 2009, I ain't heard any noise out west. I love my home, but we need to get new stars, with a new image and do it big. Mainstream is played out with that gangsta image and low riders representing the west.

Fuck the mainstream. The music has gotten much better now that its underground and independent. Now we actually have "emcees" not just gangsta rappers. And fuck anyone trying to bring it back to the mainstream.
