hm, I read an allmusic review that said em's raps are solid but they're the same old topic matter with his mom and drugs and celebrities....He's insular in his mansion it seems, trapped with his obsessions....could be an interesting artistic snapshot though...but not just music for chillin' and good times like he was once capable of.


We'll see.

Like i said, i hope dre drops another joint this year. I realize, I don't care if he doesn't do a solo record...he doesn't need to. He just needs to produce whole records. I'm looking forward to bumping this; if there's anything that's gonna be able to bring me back obsessed with hip-hop since Mac Dre died, it'll be Dre produced records, and as always I want to see him produce other genres too....

i think the record is well produced and obviously mixed perfectly....none of the beats are OMG amazing but then again, i think dre makes the beats for em a certain style, as he does for 50, game, snoop, etc....
