I'm sure he performed; I remember people at the time talking about it.

There were a load of other artists who performed that weren't featured on the DVD, like Tha Eastsidaz.
That's because different artists performed at different venues. I know Cube didn't make all the dates because he was filming "Ghosts of Mars" around that time. The DVD was filmed in Boston so any artists that didn't play that night weren't likely to be included. The only set I know that didn't show up on the DVD was Warren G's.

At the LA show
TQ & Eastsidaz did some sets before Em,Cube & Dre.
Hittman was AWOL. Yes,there's a couple of tracks that didn't make the cut on the DVD like:
-XXXplosive
-Deep Cover
&
-Chin Check

He didn't have that "it" quality in terms of Snoop but I'm sure during that time period 1999-2000 if he dropped an album the shit woulda been classic based on the track record Aftermath had during that time.

Hell yeah, most of the tracks that got leaked were good records, shame what happened to him.

They did "Bitch Please II" too, i remember it playin on this "documentary" about "Up In Smoke" on MTV years ago, i used to have it on VHS back in the day. If i'm sure Tha Eastsidaz performed "G'd Up" and "Got Beef" (there's was some footage of them on stage), Warren & Nate performed" Regulate" and i know Snoop Dogg did "Gin & Juice".

yeah i remember an interview with him where he said he wasn't at the tour. I believe he got dropped before it kicked off.

You got a link to that interview? I remember Hittman sayin it was great to see them all on stage performin "Bitch Please II" and if i remember right, he was on stage too.

ThaFormula.com - How was The Up In Smoke Tour for you?

Hittman - It was incredible. A good experience.  I learned alot, I saw alot.  It gave me more fuel for my album.

ThaFormula.com - How was it being on stage in front of thousands at The Up In Smoke Tour?

Hittman - Man!  The first night was horrifying.  I'm used to the Roxy and the House Of Blues and that kind of shit.  So that shit just fucked me up for a minute.  That shit was unreal.  Sometimes I sit down and just zone on that shit. The energy that you get from up there I can't even describe.

Yeah I saw the tour when it came to Albany NY. Hittman wasn't there but that show was sick, one of the best shows i've ever seen. Suprisingly I like Eminem but his set was by far the worst, perhaps it was all the 9 year old girls that were only there to see him screaming that ruined it.

Ice Cubes stage setup was sick with the blocks of Ice.

Then I went to the Snoop's puff puff pass tour next year, and man what a let down that was after seeing Up In Smoke. I mean I was real pumped to see Bad Azz because that was around the time Personal Business came out and that was my shit, but the quality of that show was just down. The sound was all fucked up couldn't hear shit.
