Slaughterhouse Pushed Back To August?

Unfortunately we have discovered some disappointing news for the fans of Slaughterhouse. According to the album listing on Amazon.com the album has now been pushed back to an August 11th release. Although this has not been confirmed by any member of the Slaughterhouse group, it is safe to assume that this is an official update. Fans will remember that both Crooked I and Royce Da 5'9" have stated in the last week that they would not be surprised if the album was moved to August. Perhaps that was their way of breaking the news to the fans without making an official statement. However, all has not been lost with this upsetting news. Fans still have a chance to hear individual EPs from Crooked I, Royce Da 5'9" and Joe Budden before the release of the Slaughterhouse album. Additionally, Joell Ortiz is gearing up to release his next mixtape. It would appear that E1 Entertainment and the group feel that the solo projects will build hype for the album release. In the event that this push back is confirmed by Slaughterhouse or the date changes once again we will provide the information as soon as it becomes available.

Its not a modern day classic release without few pushbacks, it was expected, never figured what was all the hurry, they need more real promotion.

Not sure if this is a good idea. There touring Rock the Bells during the release date, that would be good ass promo right at the exact time of the album release. Is Rock the Bells still going on in August?

Crooked is dropping one in July called "Mr. Pig Face Weapon Waist" (or is it weapon waste?...haven't seen it in print yet).  The weird title is apparently taken from the fact that Crooked wears a pig mask on stage when performing with "Slaughterhouse."

As far as the release date being pushed back goes, it's pretty much par for the course.  This happens with most rap releases.  Does anyone think we'll get any more "Slaughterhouse" tracks on their respective solo E.P.s ?  Evidently, the Royce E.P. will have one (?).  What about the others?  I'm really looking forward to this "Slaughterhouse," album.  I just hope it doesn't keep getting pushed back and pushed back.  That would get old quick.

All I can say is, hopefully Crooked I gets his shine from this group. East fans are biased and fickle...would hate for him to play a back seat role in this group and the others get the shine except him, when even Crooked puts these fools to shame lyrically...(I dont mind Ortiz, but Royce had his chance, and Buddens not too flash in my opinion)

In otherwords, hopefully it elevates him to a level that where he will drop solos and get his dues....But not holding my breathe.
