Well, one thing is for sure. We need more Daz/Fly produced beats, "On And On" was fuckin fire. I think that's the latest song they produced together.

what track is that?

the new quik & kurupt album was wack as hell , Quiks beats are just to soft and corny nowadays , and kurupt is at his best when Daz and Soopafly and Fredwreck is on the beats for sure . 8) 8)

can we assimilate fredwreck as a dpg producers since he did tight prod for all of them? and battlecat too..

daz soopafly warren g dre fredwreck and battlecat should produce DPG

I second that 90% if you're gonna add Jelly Roll! He's on that new millenium shit. Remember Party With A DPG?? That's that Snoop Dogg I miss man. Snoop is better than aaaaaaaaaaaaaall his ghostwriters. I know I'm digressing but shit, we don't care about 'superlyrical' Snoop. We want those Doggumentary that made the whole world wanna be Westcoast. Also, other producers must make it sound west. Y'all remember Timbaland on the Last Meal track Bring It On! That banger with MC Ren, Ice Cube, Lady of Rage!?? Aaaayaaaayaaaayyiiiiiiii that shit was too much, too too much man. Memories, memories...sigh. So, Snoop must lose ghostwriters and work with his DPG producers!

Would be dope if it's on the album, you never know though. "Y'all Know What I'm Doin" is supposed to be on it too, but if they still takin' time to drop it will they include these "old" songs on it? Both are bangin' though.

good fuckin feedback homiez I hope Daz or Fly or whoever from the DP camp looks at this post.
Once you come out and create a strong fan base like they did in the 90's with there OWN STYLE you know what that formula is and its
DPG producers with DPG artists on there actually it sounds best when everyone from snoop, daz, soopa, kurupt, bad azz, trey dee, goldie loc,
warren g, the twinz, lady of rage, etc..... is rapping on Daz, Soopa, Fred Wreck shit even battlecats production. They need to stop going to
other producers when trying to create an album it doesnt seem to sell because its not the formula. I mean Kurupt if you wanna do a song with DJ Quik do a song but not a whole fuckin album. that new one kurupt has is gonna be a waste of money. Yeh it has a few songs on there but it aing gonna make no noise in the rap game i doubt it. Same thing with soopafly when he did the beats for western union the reason it probably didnt work is because were used to hearing someone from the DPG rapping not Damani an Bad Lucc not to say they aint tight but see once again it didnt work. Same thing goes with DJ  Quik he sounded the best with his camp (AMG, 2nd to None, sUGA fREE, etc..) which now he seems to not work with and cant put out a great classic album lately without them why you ask because hes not using the right formula. and if you know anything about lets say metallica not to get off on another subject but they have been flopping for like 3 albums until finally this last new album they got Rick Ruben to produce it and tell them what the fuck are we missing and what did he tell them you need to get back to the original forumla and did it work on this new album yep everyone fukin was all on this metallica is back there album is like there first ones.

Bottom line is that it comes down to using the formula that got you there and made you popular. Keep that DPG sound on DPG artists i suggest!

Kurupt has made dope music with plenty of non-DPG producers. Hi-Tek, in my opinion, made some of the best Kurupt tracks I've heard in awhile. "Against The Grain" had some bangers on it. There's been some average Kurupt songs on Daz beats as well. I mean it seems like the same people saying all this shit said DPG fell off after hearing "Dillinger & Gotti 2" and the Daz-produced "Same Day, Different Shit".

Dogg Pound sounds fine with other producers, it's just getting the right people in the mix. It has nothing to do with them fucking with only DPG producers. When Kurupt has the right energy, he's still fierce with his. It could be Quik, Battlecat, whoever. It's just such simple thinking with some of you. It's like "Well, he's never made a better album than Dogg Food so maybe he just stick that exact same formula for his career. Just make songs produced by Daz and mixed by Dre because otherwise, it won't be a classic." I mean, the same people talking about it needs to be this early 90's G-Funk shit, are naming Fred Wreck as part of that movement when he didn't come along until the late 90's, early 2000. And his stuff with Kurupt wasn't exactly G-Funk. But it was dope as shit. Same with Terrace Martin. It has nothing to do with just DPG family because he's made great records with lots of people from different circles.

We never said he didnt make good music we were saying the DPG seems to sound best when they keep it all dpg family. Im not knocking that
they dont make good songs sometime other producers Im just sayin they should stick to the formula when putting out whole albums especially
because there trying to make some record sales and they sound the best with there crew thats all. I said nothing about trying to recreate a first doggpound album
im just saying Daz knows whats up and he puts out some great independent shit with the DPG sound and DPG members on there and its always tight. They will never try to recreate a doggfood album or doggtyle or chronic but they can sure keep comin out with there sound and there dpg crew.
All we were trying to say is they sound best when they keep it all dpg. Streetz iz a mutha is dope, dillinger an young gotti, daz has alot of indi albums that sound ill.
I bet if Daz produced a whole Kurupt album an really set his mind to it you would be alot happier with that then this new album Kurupt has out with Quik. And  no disrespect for tryin something new  Kurupt but I just think Daz and Soopafly could produce some bangers for there dpg fam/artists. Cant wait to hear what they come out with soon!
