When will the DPG LEARN????
« on: June 10, 2009, 05:21:35 AM »
All DPG members sound the best when they use there DP producers. Not knockin them for wanting to try something new by having others produce there music like lets say this quik and kurupt album but it sounds nothing like when
daz does the beats for him an kurupt. the new kurupt an quik album did not seem to be as good as everyone thought. Kurupt, daz, snoop even, soopafly etc.... they need daz, an soopafly to prodcuce more of there shit
thats the formula and it always has been since the 90's you feel me.
Daz and Soopa on the beats for the DPG members always sounds the best brings back that gfunk lbc flavor!
Sorry kurupt aint knockin you homie for tryin different shit but you sound way better on daz production

Well, one thing is for sure. We need more Daz/Fly produced beats, "On And On" was fuckin fire. I think that's the latest song they produced together.

It has a biggie sample... they used it i think as a tribute to when the biggie movie came out... its pretty tyte... its a quick paced beat and kurupt sounds good on the mic and daz sounds improved

Well Soopafly's production can make anyone sound good.  So it seems natural for the DPG to want him to be their producer.  Look what he did for Bad Lucc and Damani.  Those 2 haven't done a thing now that they don't have Soopafly's production anymore.

theres been threads like these for the past 5 years. they need to do what their best at doin, making westcoast g-funk. but like all humans they want more, they want some mainstream media hype so he rake in some cash. i dont blame them but im sure later on theyll realize that.

seriously, all these old rappers tryna adapt to the new "sound" are a big fail. i mean you dont see no heavy metal bands tryna be emos n shit.

+1 Very true! I would of rather had a Soopafly solo than Westurn Union, Bad Lucc has potential but Damani I didn't feel at all.

You would think Soopa has been around long enough Snoop would focus on getting him a solo.
