Every country has a duty to protect its borders. The US is no exception (for both borders).

More strict, how about should the U.S actually enforce and protect the border and the answer is absolutely yes. America is on the verge of a depression, it can't really support the existing population let alone yet millions more arriving.

lol believe me, if the U.S. really wanted to make the border down here more strict...they could and would.  If you grew up down here in S.D., chances are youve been through or to the border a ton of times. The San Diego/ Tijuana border crossing is the busiest in the world, and guaranteed not as strict as a lot of others.  Part of the problem is that the idea of protecting the borders from Illegal Immigrants and drugs is all just a game of smoke and mirrors.  Create the illusion that youre doing a great job, without actually doing shit. The other issue is that a lot of smugglers have Border Patrol agents working for them.

Sparegeez:
It's really not that simple. We should talk about reparations to Mexico first and then we talk border security.
