as you can see here, Randy pitches 252 more innings in 5 years (50 per year), he gets me more complete games, wins and shut-outs.  his ERA is higher because of the extra workage but 2.63 is AMAZING considering the offensive stats during those years



I'd take Pedro for a game in his prime, but for a season i'd easily take Randy Johnson in his prime.

Maddux in 95 was was just as good as Pedro.  I can't remember what season it was but Maddux threw a complete game in 76 pitches

People forget how good Maddux was b/c he didn't have explosive stuff like RJ and Pedro.  But he could throw a ball through a cheerio.
