Likely.  The Cavs have many weak spots, but I think their biggest problem is their starting guards are so damn small that they have trouble defending long wing players.  Shaq would kind of address the Cavs weak interior defense and need for an offensive post player, but in no way is he the answer. 

The Cavs had a GREAT regular season, they really overachieved, so props to them.  On paper, they might be the worst team to ever win 66 wins.  Seriously, look at their line-up, especially the posts.

I don't see the Cavs doing that well again unless they get an entirely new offensive system that has Lebron in the post often, and an athletic, scoring wing, and a semi-dominant post player.

It's what happens when you're 38 or whatever with a contract that big.  He's obviously still in demand.

Just realized that if he joins he'll have played with Kobe, D Wade, and Lebron, pretty good company.
