Where I have I heard the background beat before? Im sure its a Nas song but I could be wrong.

Dunno, but the song they sampled is "In the Space" by Janko Nilovic. Badass sample.

Noo im talking about the bit at the very start of the song. Its different to that sample. Its definetly been used in another tune.
