Pathetic, yeah. But you know, when it counts, we usually are hard to defeat.

ya that was pathetic. Well this is no major tourney, but it still counts. I'm sure Italy would like to win this. Now advancing out of the group will be tough.

Fixed.

Is that supposed to make you feel better?

Italy should be beating Egypt and didn't. End of story. An embarrassment. Well embarrassment is harsh.

At least Antonio has the right sort of attitude and doesn't think along the lines of "but but but Brazil conceded 3 too!!".

Childish analogy.

Italy is playing really bad at the moment. It all started when we faced Brazil, in a friendly, a couple of months ago. We had the record of straight games without a loss, and Brazil destroyed us. I think we lost the cool that day, and we still have the pressure on us cause it was like a cold shower for us. People started to doubt our qualities, and probably the players are feeling those critics too. Plus we are coming from the failure of Euro 2008 when The Nederlands and Spain destroyed us too. We're in a problematic situation, emotionally speaking. I have no problems admitting it. Next game vs Brazil will be so fucking important for us. Not for the Tournament (we couldn't care less about it, we are the World Champions!), but for our morale. Let's see how players respond.

Cannavaro looks done to me.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin
