Any new NY artists
« on: June 20, 2009, 02:09:24 AM »
I remember maybe 06 it was there was a big group of up-and-coming NY rappers that i thought would give NY some new energy and possibly produce some classic albums along the way. There was Papoose, Saigon, Joell ortiz, uncle murda etc.

But now most of them arent doing much, Joells the only one showing signs of progress. Just wondering if theres anyone new to look out for... Maino seems alright but he isn't that great and seems to be to mainstream for my liking. I checked some Max B but since hes in jail for the next 2 decades i doubt im gonna rely on him for music.

I suggest going to a East Coast board if you want information on em.I haven't even heard of em until now.

I don't follow the New york rap scene, I barely follow anything outside the west coast.Just doesn't honestly doesn't appeal to me.
