Should I Buy A PS3 From Play.com.....?

im thinking of finally getting ps3, came across the site, its got gd offers, thers 1 gd offer for the 60gb and 1 for 80gb, what should i go for? i got told 60gb has its faulty moments, thats why the stop selling it in the uk?

The YLOD only happening with 60gb models? Mine had it, but I got it replaced. I wouldn't be too worried about HDD size coz you can always upgrade, I'd get the 60gb if it's BC. Not all PS3's are BC.

I wouldnt get a 60 GB im on my 4th and word is they are the ones which seem to have issues and seeing that Sony have decided to ass-fuck everyone with their new warranty i'd get a 80 GB if i were you, backwards comptability isnt really that big of a deal

i've had a 60gb since launch with no problems watsoever lol

i heard it was the 40gb that went nuts.

much prefer the 60gb cuz of the BC, but i was tempted to sell it on ebay for big bucks and get the 40gb and dust off the ps2.

I had the 60 and one day it just stopped working and I lost all my saved games.To kick Me in the balls even more it was a month out of warranty.So I did the honourable thing and bought a new one switched mine into the box and then returned it to get my money back and I even upgraded to an 80 in the process

thanks homie but for that amount there (£280), you can get deals for that amount, thats too expensive, i might go for the offers in play.com but major props though.

Yeah play.com should be fine, ive bought loads of things from there in the past and never had any problems, i didnt get my ps3 from there though but i know a mate who did and he never had any problems
