Knoc-turn'al & I Just Got Off Phone...New Idea...What Do Y'all Think?

What's good Y'all? It's been a while since Me and Knoc did something for y'all on Raptalk. Shit, to keep it real before last night I hadn't spoke to Knoc in a month. He was doing shows in Europe and his phone wasn't working.

But he is back now and we are on schedule to start up once again. I just spoke to him for about 2 hours, just shooting the shit and he sharing some dope stories about Dr. Dre, Warren G and what not. By the way he was trippin over the Nate Dogg rumors, he was like "man Nate ain't dead!" so there u have that haha 

Well in the time when we were just talking and shooting the shit, I came up with a little plan and wanted to get y'all take on it. "Knoc's Ville" his street album is dropping real soon and I been wanting to do a series on Raptalk called "In the Recording Studio With ..." for quite some time now, so why not start with Knoc?
 
The idea around the series would be me sitting down with the artist and going through the album, track by track with the artist explaining the song and just talking about how it came about and what not. It's pretty in-depth.

Do y'all want to see me do this with Knoc for "Knoc's Ville?"

Not really.  I think Knoc's cool and all, but I don't think that many people would be interested in it, not hating on Knoc, it's just an opinion.

You should do it with Soopafly.  Sit down with him and have him go through Dat Woopty Woop track by track, then maybe do his "Bangin Westcoast" album.  And if he has time, do one for his new EP as well.  There are tons of Soopafly fans on this board.

BUT, if knoc's the only person you can get in contact with, it's better than nothing, so then go for it.

i dont think its a good idea at all. theres always that shit before an album comes out where the rapper goes through it describing each song, only problem is hes trying to sell the album so its biased as fuck

this will be different. We already recorded half of it. It's not like Knoc is saying all this bullshit like "oh I love this song its a banger!" but more-so talking about how it came about and the creative process around it.

It'll be stuff that the fans like to hear, the stuff that goes on behind closed doors that we don't get to see happen, but we would love 2..

If you've followed any of the work I do with Knoc, you'll see it's all genuine and humble..

Haha man you must be confused. A lot people are interested in track by track breakdowns to get an idea where the influence for the song came from. You think he's just gonna sit there and be like track 3 is dope buy my album.

^We got half of it recorded, we went through the first 7 tracks already. Me & Knoc will fuck around and record the rest a bit later today. I don't know when will drop it, maybe today if y'all lucky haha.

The album is coming out soon, maybe even late July.

Yes. If your insinuating I stole the idea from u, I never claimed this was a new idea, obviously it is not. That is 2-3 years old, I don't even remember u doing that. If u must know, I got the idea more from WordOfSouth because we do that and I work there but can't do with Knoc there because he aint southern.
