Question on all of Pac's unreleased shit...i
« on: July 12, 2009, 03:56:01 PM »
i was wondering, everyone who did unreleased songs with Pac, did they get paid for those unreleased tracks??

Pac worked with mad rappers, but from what I understand of the rap game that only shit htat gets released gets paid for...meaning anyone who did unreleaesd tracks with Pac never got any album-budget $$$

anyone know the scoreh ere?

I read in a Source or Vibe years ago, re: 2pac unreleased material, was that most of the "featured performers" were paid that night, ranging from $4,000 or $5,000, but they didn't get into the the publishing or royalty aspects

In most cases, yes. If you look at the publishing on the newer remixed tracks of a lot of these songs, the original collaborators are still given credit so they're more than likely getting something.
