In My history class, there is a guy that looks just like my friend jason. For those of you that don't know, jason was a childhood friend of mines. I attended middle and high school with him. It just so happens there is this guy who look almost like him. Everytime i am not focus on who is around me in that class. from the corner of my eye this person look like him. There have been times where my eyes have tricked me and i thought it was him. But hurt it never is. jason was my friend and i miss him. I wish he was living life by doing all the things young people do, such as college and dating and what ever is fun on a saturday night for him...

I can't even talk or look at this other person anymore. do to the fact that i want it to be jason so bad.
Why does this bother me so much

well i guess since Jason was a real close friend to you, u miss him and when u see that person u always think of Jason. so if u talk to that person, ur gonna be thinkin of Jason always and its gonna be weird for you.

i think it might be that i want it to be jason. I miss him alot.. and want him to live rather then be dead. Unless he is happy where ever he is now... then i guess it is cool

MidnightPills, this will sound arrogant, but I'm sure Jason's doing fine where he is.  He must have been a cool guy.  I've got a psychology degree, and I can tell you it's perfectly natural to feel like that.

Yeah, But i really miss him. I don't think it is natual to miss someone this long. I sometimes miss him more then my mom... i think is only becuase i seen him everyday do to school... but anyways.. i really want him to live.. and be young... he should be happy.. and i hope he is a heaven.. because it is not like he was a little angel.. he had his bad side too... but he was good.. and i miss him for that.... I just wish i could see him again

It's perfectly natural to miss people for as long as it takes.  You don't ever stop missing somebody, lol... you just learn to deal with it, and live with it.  There's no wrong way to deal with somebody dying.

I can relate completely.  I spent the whole summer of 96 with this girl named Ashley.  We were young and very in love.  She was living at her dad's house across the street from me.  Her mom lives in Maryland.  She moved back to her moms at the end of the summer.  And I haven't seen her since.  She slowly stopped writing me as the years went by, and eventually washed her hands clean of the situation.  I still sometimes see people and think it's her.  I've dated and even been in love with other girls since her, but I've never really gotten over that summer I spent with her.  Peace.
