I just purchased 2 new copys of Tha Realest's album from Amazon, and I'm classed as a Realest 'hater'  ::)

Couldn't quite buy 3 copys like Phil, but I have 2 kids mouths to feed, 2 cars, and a 5 bedroom house to pay for, and I'm struggling with the recession too. I was struggling to pay for 2Pac/DR projects but still managed to pay £30 for this. Don't regret it, because the album sounds hot, but I still have my doubts Tha Realest personally

He still has lost feelings for Eminem, in the song "Y I Keep My Burna On Me", he mentions about people being "feminem". I thought his shout out to Dre, and having his album directed by a close assosiate of Emienem's later albums that he wouldn't be displaying those kinds of shots. I doubt to see any kind of positive Aftermath opportunity people spof of previously

if u sound like some1 then im sure that aint yo fault but theres other rappers who try soundin like pac n use production equipment n shit so i wouldnt say the realest is a biter in that sense.. anyways why the fuck does every1 have a problem, i think his music is one of the best in this moment of time!!!!

now u must have heard about cristiano ronaldo, soccer player- who uses the same skill, trickery and foot movement like the brazillian ronaldo- does that mean hes a biter???

tha realest has respected pacs legacy on numerous tracks n the tattos n shit mean fuk all cos the guy was a pac fan and heavily influenced by him.. is it biting if u wanna play n dress like yo favourite basketball player???
grow up!! theres plenty of fakes in the game to expose than argue over some petty shit..

Lets break this red eye fuck down...

1. Only thing realest can't control his looks and his voice. Everything else (mannerism, way he talks in interviews like pac, and tattoos, laugh, style) all that is biting.

2. Only fags watch soccer

3.Difference between fucking respecting and fucking straight copying. The Realest is IN the game, he doesn't need to dress up and play, he is in the game he can make his own legacy.

4.True

5.Only reason he appears to be the best in this moment is because hes using tupacs style..

6.Besides of Tupac was alive you know realest wouldn't even try this, hell if Tupac came back to life or fucking out of hiding (which ever) and saw this, he'd fucking release Hit em up part 3. He disses biggie just because he was doing the "I got money" persona. Do you think he would allow such blatant copying?

I'll agree its not all the realest fault. Suge probably had some influence on his style, but we have to remember also, Suge Knight was only signing second generation rip offs (Realest and Top dogg) to try and appeal to the original fans. So really his ass got KIA before he even had a chance.

100% agree on dat bro

this dude laughs breathes like pac. listen to the album

i bet he didnt sound like dat b4 he met pac

He never met tupac....

Tupac died in September 1996, he was signed in 1997. Anyone who honestly think that even if he met Tupac, That tupac would be cool with him is a moron. I mean he went off on Biggie, cause of how he stole the I'm gettin Money persona (and the same sample used for Who Shot ya was on another Tupac track around the time). So would he really give props to a nigga who looks, acts and does the same mannerisms to him?

At the time he went by another name and I'm pretty sure didn't bite until suge was using him for the second Dynasty, but tupac is rolling in his grave cause people think tupac be cool with this cat. Even if they was cool, if tupac was alive right now seeing this you know he would call the nigga out....so doesn't matter if the realest ever met tupac...

I am just sayn dat if there was no 2pac  no realest

I heard dat part of his contract was to copy pac

I highly doubt it was in his contract, but I wouldn't be amazed if he was given extra incentive by Suge.

The track 'Change Gone Come' when "fans" thought that it was 2Pac on the outro was the initial problem of direction for Tha Realest over at Death Row

Blaqthoven added some new sound effects to it, and overall made it sound a lot cleaner, but that beat was definitely a Khaled beat, I was there when he played it for Realest and Joe the first time.

When it came down to mix the project, Blaqthoven added his own lil twist to it, and made it sound a lot better. Even though it says "Originally produced by Khaled", it should say "Produced by Blaqthoven and DJ Khaled," because that beat pattern was brought to the table by DJ Khaled.

cools... also who produced "y i keep my burna on me?" i noticed they forgot to list the producer under the credits for this track in the booklet. is 1500 the same production team that did "dopeboyz" from The Games "LAX" album?

1500 is the same production team from Game's "Dope Boys". They're also the same group that produced Jay-Z's "Show Me What You Got"

"Y I Keep My Burna On Me", I can't really speak on who produced the track, the name was kept off the album for a reason.

It's too bad, because if this producer had allowed his name to be placed in the credits and advertisements, it would have boosted sales MAJORLY, and everyone on this forum would have been going ballistic. It's someone you all know and really love, I'll leave it at that  ;)

Maybe someday it can be announced publicly, but its staying private for now.

i have 5 friends that LOVE tha realest's new album and cant believe its from the west coast [ they all HATE west coast rap ] , its funny because i havent seen any of them bumping west coast since death row was on top lol ! tha realest has definitely put together a GREAT album and by me not caring enough to argue with people on here that may jump down my throat im gonna go ahead and say it : this being a debut album by a true rap veteran that has WEATHERED THE STORM LIKE NO OTHER that has good features , great hooks , good to great lyrics , GREAT production , and [IN MY OPINION ] 13 out of 17 songs that are BANGING i think witness tha realest is a STRAIGHT-UP-WEST-COAST-CLAS-SIC . yes i said it . . CLASSIC.

Um, that makes no sense, I've never heard anyone refer to someone as "feminem."

He was saying "feminine" as in having female tendencies. I'm telling you, people are looking hard for things to nit pick about this album, just enjoy the album for what it is.

And whether anyone wants to believe it or not, there was heavy Aftermath influence all throughout this album. Mike Lynn, the A&R for Aftermath personally chose to get involved in this project as the A&R, with no promise of any major financial turnaround in terms of sales. A good majority of the album was even done in the Aftermath studios. With that said, you can be guaranteed that there'd be no reason for any dissing. Infact, there was no dissing what so ever on this album.

I haven't bought 2 of these albums to sit through them with a fine comb, and I haven't mentioned anything negative about any other song on the album

In due time it might be public knowledge, but for the time being it has to be kept under wraps.

Just Blaze handled the arrangement on Show Me What You Got, but in terms of the actual instruments being played, it was 1500.
