This movie looks great, and I have a feeling Aziz Ansari is going to blow up after this.  He's getting pretty famous now, but his character "Randy" is fucking hilarious in the movie.

Sandler has fallen off hard in the past few years, with the exception of chuck and larry, that shit was hilarious. It looks alright but i'm not expecting much from this.

The film is written by Judd Apatow though.  It will be more like 40 Year Old Virgin and Knocked Up than Little Nicky and Zohan.  I wouldn't be surprised if this film gets Oscar attention later on.

I know that, but I was just saying I don't think Sandler is that funny these days. and I LOVE Appatow's movies but this doesnt look that funny to me. with 40 year old virgin and knocked up just about every clip I saw I laughed, I've seen a few clips from this movie and I haven't really laughed, 'chuckled' at the most.

To me Sandler has never been funny, but I still enjoy Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison.  Plus, Punch Drunk Love was great and Funny People is more of a serious film about stand up comedians.  Why is Sandler even being used as a barometer to see if this movie is promising or not?

movie looks amazing, i heard Eminem has a cameo & countless comedians; maybe Ab-Normal LOL.

amazing movie, don't go expecting some laugh your ass off comedy; with jokes literally every second.

the funny parts are mad funny & most of the stand-up is hilarious.

it has a serious side to it though, but it's an amazing all around movie.

but like i said, don't go expecting "The Hangover" type comedy with non-stop jokes for 99% of the movie, about 50% is jokes.

highly recommended. 8)

Holy shit was I wrong!! :o

The movie is hilarious, the stand up is funny, Sandler was funny as fuck. Rogen was funny, Jonah Hill was funny too. Great cameos, Em was funny as hell, rogen : 'I thought everybody loved you'' ;D

I liked the seriousness of the movie, really made it great. You won't laugh all the way through but it's pretty consistent throughout the movie.

GO SEE IT!

btw: last time I underestimate an Appatow film ;)

Yea he could've been somewhere in the bar but he definently had no dialogue in the film.
