oh my god, the chinese magic johnson and the yellow kobe bryant is leaving.. how are the lakers going to cope with that loss?

fuck him.
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

Its all over now, I don't think we're making the playoffs this year lol

Fan favorite G Sun Yue has been waived by the Lakers today according to the Lakers;

    “With the talent level and depth of our roster, the situation simply doesn’t provide an opportunity for Sun Yue to get the chance to play that he deserves,” said General Manager Mitch Kupchak. “We feel it is in Sun’s best interests to be able to go to a team where he can get the minutes to play and showcase his considerable talents. We appreciate Sun’s contributions to last season’s championship team, and wish him the best of luck with the rest of his career.”

After the trade last season that brought Adam Morrison and Shannon Brown to the Lakers Yue was pushed even further down the depth chart, especially after Brown's performance in the postseason that led to his recent contract extension with Los Angeles. Yue was drafted by the Lakers in 2007 and spent most of his time in the D-League with the Lakers' affiliate the D-Fenders.

^^isnt it funny how the term "Fan favorite" is always used to describe players who get 1 or 2 minutes/ game IF theyre lucky? lol

Id imagine if you took a poll of Laker fans..and asked, "whos your favorite Laker?", Sun Yue wouldnt be the one with the most votes lol

he wasnt whack, man....defense was actually a strong point of his game....he only got garbage minutes, so u cant really judge his game on that....but he played good for the China national team, even against NBA superstars:

if shannon brown never happened, sun yue would still have a spot on the lakers. it's just that brown has what it takes NOW and into the future , whereas sun MIGht have what it takes. plus when you now have artest who'll take up a lot of slack defensively from kobe. this is will expend less energy on kobe's part and allow him to slide into a ball handling role more effectively.

That sucks. :( They should of sent him to play overseas.

I think Sun had more of an upside, but Shannon Brown was the safer option.
