The 90's was lovely.. especially the mid-90's. The best show on television in the mid-90's was YOMTVRap! About some of the songs posted here...Nas-If I Ruled The World- This joint is in my top 10 songs of all times listSnow- "Informer"- Somebody probably posted that as a joke, but that's a good song too. Compare it to "Crank Dat Souljah Boy" a catchy song from today's time's and you will understand how great the 90's really was. Because they are somewhat comparable for their generations.Fugee's "FugeeLa"- First time I heard this song was on YoMTVraps. It was kind of a different sound, at first I didn't really know how to take it. Also, I was biased against the East Coast at the time. Still I loved it, and eventually it would become one of my all-time favorite joints....and by the way, I can't agree with ya'll that Queen Latifah was dope. I kind of thought she was wack, and still do. I mean, as an actress and as a person she is cool, but her music was always wack to me.
this post is sad....not because of what anybody posted. but because i remember when that beat nuts song was considered mediocre by that era's standard. u put that out today and it'd be an instant classic. ; ( i miss the 90's.
you trippin it the opposite for me........... her music was dope but her acting is whack to me. she went from being the QUEEN to a tool for white supremacy. eye am really surprised to hear this from you
