^^ yeah kobes offence is awsome and im a big kobe fan even tho im not a laker fan but his game aint flawless. his a career 45% shooter so he cant have a flawless offensive game.

players get so good that they have the ability to make over-the-top shots...so in turn, they tend to take a lot of over-the-top shots. kobe does it, jordan did it...magic did it with passing. all the great players who had the ability to make difficult shots/passes overused that ability.

agree with Nik and Antonio comments ... despite that , I still think his FG could be around 50%.. I'd like him to spend less energy on handling the ball and always be forced to be the primary creator on the offense ... having some better entry passers and another creator on the team would be great ...

^^ yep totally agree. you see thats what i thought made jordan so great (sorry to bring jordan up in a kobe thread, but kobe is now entering that realm of magic, bird, jordan terrotory wether people like it or not), jordan was able to average 30+ pts per game with a FG% constantley around the 50 mark, this made him deadley efficent at scoring the basketball. i believe kobe should spend less time handling the ball and pinging up 3's (his great at this i aint denying but his effeciency will be greatly improved).

Let's say the truth: when Kobe is on the floor, the Lakers don't play triangle most of the times. It's mostly games played between Odom and Kobe, or Gasol and Kobe. That's why he forces too much, that's why he's double-teamed (you can't really double-team during a triangle offense), that's why he's not always so efficient. When he (and Sasha, lol) is on the bench, you see the real triangle. And the percentage is better (no forced shots, balanced shots, good percentage). But you gotta give it to your superstar player..

Kobe has less freedom on the offensive end then Jordan did back in the days, u gotta also take that into consideration
