The song rocks, so does snoop.  What did "What's my name part 2" debut at?  And did they say anything about the video or Snoop? Just tryna judge reaction to the song.

ohhhhh shit, its oonn, now. you know what that means, the teenie bopers are feeling the song.  once you hit trl your song is a offical hit!!!!  if you are on trl you are already platinum.  lets keep voting.  this could be the start of the return of the west.  Look at all the videos that never made it to trl, xzibit-multiply, snoop dogg-law low,.  106 and park dont mean shit as far as sales.  master p is always on 106 and park but his albums dont sale well anymore.  the reason I think the video made it to trl is because it's funny.  Rather the teenie bopers like the song or not everybody can laugh.  and btw, snoop dogg pt.2 never made it to trl.  remember snoop canceled his interview with mtv because they were not playing the video.  he got real pissed.  if it did ever make it, it was only on their for a quick second.

nah whats my name part 2 was on trl, it made it as far as #7, snoop was talkin bout mtv not playin his shit on ne thing other than trl, cuz thats the only time he was gettin airplay.

even though i dislike neptunes and dislike the beat snoop used, i gotta recognize that everything neptnes touches right now becomes hits... so im not surprised.. but im still dissapointed over the beat.. snoop's flow was to dope to be waisted over a wack beat

That's not completely true...A lot of people failed trying to use The Neptunes for mainstream success...Philly's Most Wanted, The Liks etc etc...Even their own album didn't have a hit single...But I gotta admit, they did help out a lot artists, even though they're whack...PeACe

Cross the Border by Phillys Most Wanted was a relatively big track..but its the kinda song where you can see that its just a hot song..not by a hot group.  Now as far as the N.E.R.D. album--first off..dont compare that to other Neptune productions.  Second off..Rockstar was a pretty big song and that CD has consistently sold well and has been very well received by various audiences.  Im not a fan of the Neptunes production but I think the N.E.R.D. album is pretty hot.
