http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2009/05/21/green-day-vs-walmart_n_206225.htmlYou won't find a dirty version of an album in Walmart at least in the US.This Smoke song might be similar or the one that was on DPG 2002..
When should this leak?
Anyone know if the Wal-Mart clean version will have the radio versions of songs like Dre Day, Let Me Ride, and Nuthin But A G Thang...the versions with different lyrics? If so, it might be worth picking up for that reason alone. If the songs are just edited and masked, that'd suck. You never know if maybe Dre made clean versions of other songs like "Lil Ghetto Boy" etc. in anticipation of making them singles, but never happened. Maybe WideAwake will surprise us with other songs that have new radio friendly lyrics than the 3 main ones we know about.

The radio version of "G Thang" is actually dope but if it's all just censored lyrics then I probably won't fuck with it.
I'm guessing this whole different version with Wal-Mart deal was scrapped because if you search for The Chronic Re-Lit, in the search results it shows that it's only being sold online, and not in stores as well.
I have the clean version of the Gang Related soundtrack, and it's got a few new radio versions of songs with different lyrics, some songs you can't get anywhere else. One song that comes to mind is Roland's "Freak Somethin". Lots of new lyrics. And I don't have it, but the clean version of the Above The Rim soundtrack had clean versions with new lyrics of Pain and Big Pimpin. Most of the songs are masked and censored, but there were some with new lyrics. I'm buying the Wal-Mart version of The Chronic Re-lit this afternoon and let you all know for sure if no one has done so by then.
Well scrapped or not scrapped, according to the website it's not being sold in stores so that blows. I would probably pick up that version if it was.
