before anyone says anything else, I believe the music industry has fucked up. they where blind-sided by the internet & if that wasn't bad enough the mp3 revolution has come.they should have been paying attention to this instead of the RIAA spending their resources on prosecuting wack music piracy, when instead they could have utilized the invention of Free Lossless Audio formats & other lossless venues, this would have combated the steep drop in CD-sales. Jimmy Iovine & Dr. Dre are the pioneers along w/ loads of others to fix this problem facing the music industry.I was one of the first to buy the FLAC formats of Relapse when it came out, so there is a market out there for it, they (the music industry) just need to take matters into their own hands.
Quote from: operation stackola on August 29, 2009, 03:23:18 PMThanks for the songs, lovin' this shit. What Death Row video has "Smoke Enough Bud" playing in the background, or maybe it was playing in some album (can't remember).Smoke enough Bud, was the intro track for the song You Thought, from the Doggfather record. Its the song wit too short and soopfly Smoke enough Bud is right at the beginning

I also coped that (the CD) eventually.don't worry, the CD is as GOOD as it gets, as far as quality. Free Lossless Audio Codec is a precise/compact rip of the CD.
I can;t stop bumping Slippin' In the West and Foo Nay Mic.The latter has a fucking amazing beat, Sam Sneed maybe?
Sam Sneed maybe?

You'll the be the first within days to whine like a little girl as soon as WIDEawake announce they are selling the catalouge to Cash Money - which is a possibility considering Universal would have been willing to put up the money, and have been an interested party in the past before WIDEawake secured the deal.. Oh yeh that's right - Cash Money!!!! Birdy will be all over it, quicker than half this board on a download linkBow Wow's next album will feature Snoop Dogg, Daz, Kurupt, & Nate DoggLil Wayne's album after that will feature production from Dr Dre, and feature artists: Jewell, Snoop & Daz^^^There's the potential future right there.
Ego's and reps being a considerable reason. Rappers like Lil Wayne/Birdy try their hardest to push a "gangster" image for their current records - hence the reason for the fake blood characters they've tried hard to create for themselves. The thought of being able to use/manipulate/exploit (choose any word you'd like) the Death Row catalouge to further than belief would be a god-sent! Not to mention the obvious of owning an essential part of Hip Hop history, and it's huge unreleased collections
