questions bout the tupac: Resurrection film?
« on: August 28, 2009, 12:28:50 PM »
aite so i finally watched this movie and i got some questions...from the second part of the film
jus makes this whole "murder of pac" more suspicious

was 2 americas most wanted an actual group?
theres a part were they enter the stage of a show and are announced as that as if it were an actual group vs it bein jus one song they did called that?

2pac:THE REASON I AM WHO I AM TODAY
does anyone know when that line is from?  hes talkin as if he were alive today and this was made wit him right there

SUGE SAYS THIS:
I DONT CONSIDER MY ARTISTS-ARTISTS...THEY FAMILY
for the people sayin suge was part of pacs murder...so this statement he made makes him a 2faced liar to his "BEST FRIEND"?

2pac says this:
suge aint no gangster
did suge say anythin in regards to this?

PAC SAYS THIS:
I love the eastcoast, Im from the eastcoast
for everyone sayin hes from the west, hes claimin somethin else right?

Pac asks:
who shot me?  I dont know
hes obviously talkin bout the shootin at the quad that night, but how do you not know who shot you especially if you live to tell it? and someone like pac a thug life all up spittin in the camera...dont know who shot him?

Pac and Snoop were never an official group. It was just kind of something they were calling each other and if anything, I think the announcement was playing off that. As for the Suge comment, I don't think it says anything that either clears or condmens him any further. Suge has always pushed his label as being like a "family". He said in the early days that he would always have love for the people who were there and started Death Row from the beginning but how many of them are still on good terms with him? I can't say it's lies because honestly, who knows what the real story is? I'm not gonna throw up a single soundbyte from anyone that runs a multi million-dollar company from any given day and call it the gospel by which they live their life. I really doubt that Suge was involved in any way with Pac's murder but in the same vein, I'm always skeptical of these business relationships were the artists and the label are "closer than blood". Let's keep in mind that Suge and Pac were still in the honeymoon stage in terms of their business relationship. Pac was selling millions of records and Death Row was riding high. The thing that people so often either forget or just overlook is that Tupac was only on Death Row for eleven months before he was killed. That does not mean that Pac wouldn't have continued to have a great working relationship with the label until this very day if he was still alive but the thing is a lot of things change with time.

In regards to the Pac shooting comment, I don't think he's looking at the question from a perspective of the individual who pulled the trigger but more the person who made the call for it to happen. Also, it's pretty much procedure when it comes to rappers getting shot or witnessing shootings that they aren't gonna break down the details even if they know.

The thing to understand with "Resurrection" is it culled from various different audio recordings, many of which are from different periods in his life and career.

No, Snoop & 2Pac were known as that, which created the whole concept of their song. Snoop was on trial for murder, and 2Pac was out on bail after a bogus rape charge, hence the name

2pac:THE REASON I AM WHO I AM TODAY
does anyone know when that line is from?  hes talkin as if he were alive today and this was made wit him right there

It's from his interview in 1995 while he was in prison

SUGE SAYS THIS:
I DONT CONSIDER MY ARTISTS-ARTISTS...THEY FAMILY
for the people sayin suge was part of pacs murder...so this statement he made makes him a 2faced liar to his "BEST FRIEND"?

He considered them family due to some of them coming up in the same circumstances/area as Suge in society, and they were together all the time. I really can't see why you'd think suspicion of that statement above lol!!!

2pac says this:
suge aint no gangster
did suge say anythin in regards to this?

What's wrong with that? If anything 2Pac should have got his d!ck sucked from Suge for this. The media were, while causing friction about the label naming Suge for everything, painting bad pictures of all artists, caused a great deal of unecessary grief from everywhere, and had potential damage for some deals, and would-be-artists, so 2Pac stood up and was like "naaahhh Suge aint no gangster, he aint the man you (the media) protray him as"

PAC SAYS THIS:
I love the eastcoast, Im from the eastcoast
for everyone sayin hes from the west, hes claimin somethin else right?

He started of as MC New York, and established a lot of his creativity on the East so more or less "came" from there, but moving to the West early too made him bi-coastal. He could claim West, but still come from the East. He aint sitting in some hideout at Harlem

Pac asks:
who shot me?  I dont know
hes obviously talkin bout the shootin at the quad that night, but how do you not know who shot you especially if you live to tell it? and someone like pac a thug life all up spittin in the camera...dont know who shot him?

:o :o :o lol. This was one of MANY intentionally edited sections of the documentary. They cut and pasted a lot of interviews. Some examples:

When I was on Death Row - I was makin' money, but not happy

My Death, It's a tradegy like Shakespear I guess, but I have no bad feelings towards anybody

The last one in particular, I even know the 3 interviews these come from. Don't look too far in to that documentary, it comes from a company who do nothing but further fuel the alive theories by any means!!!

(i mean it was someone associated wit orlando right?)

i didnt believe anything from this film...reason i watched it to see how they made him out to be and how they wanted to make pac/suge etc...in this film
pac looks to be a soft person and not as if he would harm everyone...even tho hes wit that thug life lifestyle but even accordin to him that dont mean to hurt anyone

and this part
2pac says this:
suge aint no gangster
did suge say anythin in regards to this?

I figured suge would have been mad as if pac was talkin bad about him but i guess what your sayin is that he was tryna make him look like a good guy
damn u still havent logged off...ur hurting everyone with all this wack shit u drop, it hurts more then getting the swine flu

No one really wants to be branded a gangster, and ignite an enormous amount of unwanted pressure and attention from the authorities. Anyone who says so is an idiot. Suge although he posed in red, with the cigar etc in the mid 90's, he was working an expected image to sell to mainstream that Death Row was seen as through the anti-Death Row/gangsta rap campaign of the 90's that West Coast was now renowned for in that time.

Suge wasn't some chump like Birdy, of Puffy in terms of street cred, and as known, actually had his hand in illegal activity, drugs, bought police, 'real', gang affiliations, criminal records, violent conflicts etc, and like most criminals on his kind of level, they all have a hand in business, and "steal" it if you like through violence and intimidation. Just ask Harry-O, and Dr Dre that. Look at gangsters in history - they all have their hands in businesses and "don't" want to be labelled as illegal in public especially by a close friend, or someone who's around him regularly. 2Pac probably got a 'props' for that

Corrupt police behind Reggie killed 2Pac
