why does everyone hate Dr. Dre presents the aftermath?

it took me a while but this album really grew on me, there's a lot of dope songs:
The Intro-aftermath
group therapy-east coast/west coast killaz
mel-man-shittin on he world
dr dre-been there done that
miscellaneous-as the world keeps turning
hands on-got me open (i don't really like R&B but this song is dope and dre's got a cool verse on it)
sharief-l.a.w
nowl-nationowl
rc-fame

i think the reason people didn't like this was cause it wasn't really gangsta rap, but there's some real dope lyrics and beats on this album

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Album is garbage...Other than Been There Done That, East Coast West Coast killaz, The Mel Man joint and the King T joint most of the other songs are wack...That Fame remake is the worst shit I have ever heard other than Benzino's music...

Nah Str8 Gone is fire...Dre should've released the King T album on Aftermath instead of this compilation...

It's a good album, but the reason it's hated on so much is because it's not up to 'Dre standards'...

I was really feeling the intro, the beat kid of reminded me of puffin on blunts. Anyway I thought it was nice, had too many r&b cuts for my liking, and it the rap track got weak at the end. The beats were actually quite good though.

There are some decent joints on it, but alot of it is mediocre...I think that's basically what people say, not that it's wack

Album is average...with a lot of fillers.  Dre was still in between his "Death Row" sound while trying to come up with a new formula.
