Oh man, you have no idea how many times I've had this conversation with some Christians who really believe everything in the Bible is literal. Like, even though I think 70% of the stuff in that book is horse shit, I'd at least respect people more who read about Noah and Moses and get something from the overall moral or message of the story. But these god damned people that really think Noah had two of every single animal on the planet will not back down from believing it literally happened.
I seriously wanted to slap the shit out of a few of them I've talked to.

lol Ive even asked the question before about the different animals getting along on the ark. Like how are the lions getting along with the gazelles? The response was, "the animals were afraid, so they did not attack eachother". LOL!!. Because everyone knows...that when wild animals are afraid, they are far less likely to attack you.
I feel you on the whole ark thing though. Not just THAT story. But man, anyone Ive met who believes in the Bible really does believe that of these stories REALLY happened. The Bible isnt a book of morals, its a history book. lol wtf. Like Ive said, Im completely tolerant of others beliefs and whatever they wanna believe...go for it. But sometimes you just gotta say....wtf?! I think Im gonna buy a million copies of The Neverending Story and see if I can start my own religion based on that movie.

No joke, my dad used to know this guy that bought a church and did some fake ass sermons or whatever you call them once a week. He lived off the donations of the people. He bought a Lambo, lived in a mansion, and would fuck all the women in his church that had problems with their husbands. He would just tell them not to tell their husbands what he was doin LOL.

jallaludin rumi explained it in 1500s and was never held as an anti-religion in olden muslim world... and who knows other civilizations may have explained it as well if we still had their manuscripts
and its obvious that our genes are programmed to evolve (adapt) to different situations...
one of you cats already explained the problem with macroevolution.. like subtheories of punctuated equilibrium... & irreducible complexity...
thats not something that can be explained by the darwinian theory under a mathematical probability model, but on faith you can accept it to be true if your dogma lies in academia...
