MJ has definitely been an asshole throughout his career, but this was nothing more than a hater article.

I disagree. Michael has always been a class act. If he comes off as an asshole sometimes it is only because he is the greatest competitor that ever lived. That was reflected in his speech. He has a great competitive spirit and he mentioned throughout his speech the things that inspired him to be as great as he was. So what's the problem?

Michael is far from an asshole; he is just a great competitor. You guys really got this confused. I would of personally liked him to hear him talk more about a couple of his teammates I really loved, like Scottie and Dennis... but so what? Maybe those guys didn't inspire Michael as much as Byron Russel and Van Gundy's negative remarks did. Michael was only being genuine.
